Cumulative coverage of the LifeLines Agriculture and Education service now extends to:

  • 4661 villages
  • In 6 states
  • Reaching out to more than 150,000 farmers
  • Supporting nearly 14,000 teachers

The LifeLines - Agriculture service reaches over 100,000 farmers:


  • In 2066 villages across 25 districts
  • In 33 blocks
  • In 4 states – Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana

The LifeLines - Education service reaches over 14,000 teachers:

  • Across 5262 schools - including primary, upper-primary, junior and high schools and ICDS centres
  • In 2 states - West Bengal and Rajasthan
  • The Government of Rajasthan has made LifeLines service toll free in Q4 of 2009 as a pilot in Udaipur district. In Jan 2010, the service will be scaled up in all the districts of Rajasthan.
