FICCI had organized a seminar on Innovations in ICT in Jan 2009. The aim of the seminar was to discuss potential opportunities for ICT to leapfrog India development in different domains - Education, Agriculture, Health, Governance and Media. It also discussed successful case studies in every domain across different states of India. Over-here, LifeLines India was highlighted as a pioneering effort by One World to provide scientific information in local context and language to Indian farmers using innovative power of ICT.
